five summer poems: Post from July 6, 2023

Ellen Grace Olinger

plants and flowers grow
in summer gardens
sounds of work outside

daylilies bloom soon
books and journals
to read again

green leaves
in sun and a little wind
new poems

time in the kitchen
on an early July morning
an open summer window
and bird songs

bird on a branch
with summer leaves
pages of poetry

I am reading from Time Of Singing poetry journal.

My poems in this post are from Poems From Oostburg, Wisconsin.
