garden perennials
grow and rest
return again

summer to fall
willow branches
in sun and shadow

book shelves
with cards on display
a handmade gift
and a few old dishes
decades of life so far

old friends
in the gardens
phlox flowers bloom
with daylily
plants

new plants grow
in our garden
tulip leaves
sunrise . . .
some water
for the chrysanthemum
